Account Supervisor

Bread n Butter is a creative agency, dedicated to empowering brands through bold innovative content and purposeful targeted strategy.

We produce a wide range of visual creative from commercial video, internal & external brand content, campaign creative, static photography, digital assets, and content systems for enterprise B2B and B2C brands navigating complex stakeholder environments – all driven by brand and strategy.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an Account Supervisor who is equally comfortable owning the day-to-day mechanics of client delivery and growing into a strategic leadership position. This requires a strong operational and client management foundation, focused on execution, timelines, budgets, and client relationships. The position also has potential to help build a team at a rapidly growing agency while helping to contribute to new business development and account growth. You’ll work alongside department leads across business development, creative, strategy, and branding to scope work, win new engagements, and deliver against them.

You will serve as the primary liaison between senior client contacts and our internal delivery team. You do not need to be a technical production expert, but you need to understand how work moves, where it gets stuck, and how to keep it on track without losing the client relationship in the process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Management and Day-to-Day Delivery

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring clients feel guided, informed, and never surprised.
  • Lead client status calls, creative reviews, and check-ins with confidence and preparation. You set the agenda and run the meeting.
  • Translate client feedback into clear, actionable direction for internal teams, protecting the creative product from scope drift along the way.
  • Manage project timelines across concurrent engagements, each with its own approval cadence, revision structure, and delivery requirements.
  • Build and maintain project plans that make it clear who does what, by when, and what the client sees at each milestone.

Operations and Financial Management

  • Own budget tracking and burn reporting across active engagements, flagging margin risk early and managing change orders with confidence.
  • Identify scope changes and lead scope conversations with clients directly, balancing client satisfaction with agency health.
  • Coordinate across internal specialists, including strategy, creative, media, and production, ensuring briefs are enforced and deadlines are met.
  • Hold internal contributors and external partners accountable to deliverables without needing to execute the work yourself.

Strategic and Leadership Growth

  • Collaborate with department leads across creative, strategy, business development, and branding on account growth, scoping new work, and elevating the agency’s output on key clients.
  • Develop a working fluency in content strategy, audience development, media planning, and brand communications sufficient to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and hold contributors to the brief.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and bring them forward with a point of view.
  • Mentor junior team members and model what great client management looks like in practice.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in an integrated marketing or creative agency environment, with direct ownership of client-facing account management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-workstream campaigns across brand, digital, social, and media channels, not just trafficking tasks but owning outcomes.
  • Strong financial discipline: you can read a budget, flag risk, manage change orders, and have scope conversations without flinching.
  • Experience managing or directing people who are not your direct reports, including freelancers, strategists, vendors, and partner agency contributors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication that works equally well in client presentations, internal briefs, and executive updates.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity. Not every engagement comes with a clean brief. You fill gaps, make sound assumptions, and flag what needs resolution.
  • Familiarity with content strategy, paid media, or brand communications at a working level. You do not need to execute these disciplines, but you need to speak the language and hold contributors accountable.
  • Experience with enterprise or regulated clients where approval layers and reputational sensitivity are standard operating conditions is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated experience running complex, multi-deliverable creative engagements from brief through final delivery—not just trafficking tasks, but owning outcomes.
  • Understanding of video production workflows: pre-production, shoot logistics, post-production pipelines, and final QC/delivery.
  • Genuine passion for learning and adopting new tools — Artificial Intelligence, CRM/CMS, production workflow software, project management systems — and a track record of actually using them to work better.
  • Must be based in Atlanta, GA.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Health, dental, vision and 401k available
  • This role will require an in-office / in-person presence with some flexibility for remote work. In addition, occasional travel, evening / weekend hours for production, client events, and related commitments are possible.
